The PHEV powertrain adds efficiency and excitement to the Wrangler with quicker acceleration than the standard engine in the non-hybrid variant while achieving an all-electric range of up to 21 miles. It sacrifices none of the off-road capabilities that made the Wrangler famous, especially in the Rubicon models.
